Indore becomes first 'open defecation-free' district in MP

Indore has become the first 'Open Defecation- Free’ (ODF) district in the state.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan is expected to make the official announcement during an event on Monday.

Collector P Narahari said that out of 312 Panchayts in the district, the target is achieved in almost all. Although, 40 houses in Kanpel Panchayat are yet to get toilets.
